【摘要】:Thispracticeistobeusedforsamplingandsamplepreparationofironoresandrelatedmaterials,priortouseofarefereemethodfortestingforcompliancewithcompositionalspecificationsformetalcontentorphysicalproperties.Itisassumedthatallwhousethisprocedurewillbetrainedanalystscapableofperformingcommonlaboratorypracticesskillfullyandsafely.Itisexpectedthatworkwillbeperformedinaproperlyequippedlaboratoryandthatproperwastedisposalprocedureswillbefollowed.Appropriatequalitycontrolpracticesmustbefollowed,suchasthosedescribedinGuideE882.Adequatemethodsforobtainingrepresentativesamplesfortestingthechemicalandphysicalpropertiesofaconsignmentofironoreareessential.Thesaleandusearedependentonthechemicalorphysicalproperties,orboth,ofanore.Thecriteriatopreventbiasmaybeusedforbothdesignofasamplingsystemandincheckingthedesignofanexistingsystem.1.1Thispracticecoversproceduresformechanicalsamplingofironoresandrelatedmaterialsinafallingstreamorstopped-beltsamplingandpreparingthegrosssampletothevarioustestsamplesrequiredforeachcharacteristictobemeasured.IncludedasAnnexesare(1)designcriteriatopreventbias,(2)statisticalmethodstodeterminequalityvariationandprecisionsofsamplinganddivision,and(3)amethodforcomparingtwosamplingproceduresforpossiblesystematicdifferences.1.2Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SpecificprecautionarystatementsaregiveninSection8.
