【摘要】:Coringisperformedtoevaluateconstructioncontrolandphysicalpropertiesofstabilizedsoil.Coringisconductedtodeterminethequalityandthetotalthicknessofthestabilizedsoilandtoevaluatebondingbetweenlifts.Coringstabilizedsoilbeforeithascurvedtoatleast2070kPa(300psi)compressivestrengthcancauseexcessivebreakageinthecore.Iflab-curedspecimensareprepared,samplesmaybecoredtocorrelatewithspecifiedbreakintervalsofthelab-curedspecimens.Typicaltimeintervalsare7,28,60,and/or90daysafterplacement.Twenty-eight(28)daysafterplacementisthemostcommontimeintervalforfirstdrillingcores.1.1Thisguidecoversguidanceforobtainingcoresofcementorlime-stabilizedsoilforuseindeterminingcompressivestrength,liftthicknessandbondstrength,andotherphysicalproperties.Thisguideisprimarilyforuseincoringthroughshallow(0.3to3m(1to10ft)thick)layersofcementorlime-stabilizedsoilscontainingparticles60;50mm(2in.)indiametertotheunderlyingfoundation.Note18212;ThisguidecouldbeusedforsomeClassCinself-cementingflyashmaterials,whichmayalsostabilizesoil.1.2Thisguidedoesnotcovermaterialoflessthan2070kPa(300psi)compressivestrengthsuchascement-soil-bentonitemixturesorsomecontrolledlowstrengthmaterials(CLSM).1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Othervaluesareexamplesorforinformationonly.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SpecificprecautionarystatementsaregiveninSection8.1.5Thisguideoffersanorganizedcollectionofinformationoraseriesofoptionsanddoesnotrecommendaspecificcourseofaction.Thisguidecannotreplaceeducationorexperienceandshouldbeusedinconjunctionwithprofessionaljudgment.Notallaspectsofthisguidemaybeapplicableinallcircumstances.Thisguideisnotintendedtorepresentorreplacethestandardofcarebywhichtheadequacyofagivenprofessionalservicemustbejudged,norshouldthisguidebeappliedwithoutconsiderationofaproject''smanyuniqueaspects.Theword"Standard"inthetitleofthisdocumentmeansonlythatthedocumenthasbeenapprovedthroughtheASTMconsensusprocess.
