【摘要】:Thistestmethodisintendedforthedeterminationofthetotalactiveingredientscontainedinsulfonatedandsulfatedoils.Freealkaliandalkalinesoapsareexcluded.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthetotalactiveingredientsinasampleofsulfonatedorsulfatedoil,orboth,asitexistsintheoriginalsamplebyextractingtheundecomposedsulfonatedorsulfatedfatandotherfattymatteroveranacidifiedconcentratedsaltsolution.Freealkalioralkaliboundassoapisnotincluded.ThistestmethodwasderivedfromTestMethodsD500.Note18212;Inthecaseofsulfatedoilsonly,thisdeterminationmayalsobeestimatedbycalculation(see6.3),asitisequivalenttothesumofthedesulfatedfattymatterandneutralizedorganicallycombinedsulfuricanhydride.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
