【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversthemanufactureofgyroplanes.Thisspecificationincludesdesignandperformancerequirementsforlightsportgyroplaneaircraft.1.2Thisspecificationappliestolightgyroplaneaircraftseekingcivilaviationauthorityapprovalintheformofflightcertificates,flightpermits,orotherlikedocumentation.1.3AgyroplaneforthepurposesofthisspecificationisdefinedasarotorcrafttobeusedfordayVFRonly,withrotorbladesthatarenotengine-driveninflightandaresupportedinflightbythereactionoftheaironasinglerotorthatrotatesfreelyonasubstantiallyverticalaxiswhentheaircraftisinhorizontalflight.1.4Theserequirementsapplytolightgyroplanesoforthodoxdesign.Aircrafthavingthefollowingbasicfeatureswillbesoregarded:1.4.1Rotorsofeitherfixedcollectivepitchorcollectivepitchcontrolthatarenotadjustableinflight,1.4.2Singleenginewithfixedorgroundadjustablepitchpropeller,1.4.3Nomorethantwooccupantseats,and1.4.4Amaximumgrossweight(MGW)of725kg(1600lb)orless.1.5Whereitcanbeshownthataparticularfeatureissimilarinallsignificantrespectstoafeaturethathashistoricallydemonstratedcompliancewiththisspecificationandcanbeconsideredaseparateentityintermsofitsoperation,thatfeatureshallbedeemedtobeapplicableandincompliancewiththisspecification.1.6Wheretheserequirementsareinappropriatetoparticulardesignandconstructionfeatures,itwillbenecessarytosubmitanappropriateamendmentofthisspecificationtoASTMCommitteeF37onLightSportAircraftforconsiderationandapproval.1.7ThevaluesinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesinparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.8Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.1.9TableofContents:SectionScope
